LAKE FOREST DAY 2012

The Lake Forest Day event has been produced by the Lake Forest American Legion Post 264 since 1921.  In 2012, The Legion, supported by the Ladies Auxiliary is proud to present Lake Forest Day.

Don't Miss Your Chance to WIN $10,000 

TWENTY ONE RAFFLE PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED THIS YEAR - including a Grand Prize of $10,000.  In addition there is a $5,000 cash prize, plus 20 $150 cash prizes.  Tickets are on sale July 21st & 22nd, plus July 28th & 29th outside the front doors of select locations around Lake Forest including Sunset Foods, Jewel Foods, The Fresh Market and Egg Harbor.  Just look for the American Legion volunteer!

The raffle drawing will be held in West Park at 11pm on Wednesday, August 1ST, 2012.  You do not need to be present to win.

The Lake Forest Day 2012 Parade 

The theme for 2012 is:  “Lake Forest Salutes Vietnam Veterans”.

• The Lake Forest Day Parade begins Wednesday, AUGUST 1st at 10am.^. 
• All businesses are invited to participate 
• The parade is open to all at no charge. 
• To register for participation in the parade, fill out the application found via a link on the home page
• Final Day to apply is July 26, 2012

CARNIVAL IN WEST PARK

The Lake Forest American Legion Post 264 is once again honored to present the Lake Forest Day Carnival in West Park.  In addition to rides and games, the event will feature tents that offer wonderful food including hamburgers, hotdogs, roasted corn, soft drinks – plus beer and wine.  This year’s carnival schedule: 

Tuesday, July 31st:    ·

• Family Night hours:  6pm – 10pm
• Kids "all ride bracelets" are available for $20 and good for the entire evening

Wednesday, August 1st:  

• Hours 11am – 11pm
• Kids "all ride wristbands" are good between 11am - 4PM and available for ($20)
• Raffle drawing will be held in West Park at 11pm - You do not need to be present to win.
